John's transactional services include commercial real estate purchase and sale, leasing, financing, development, condominiums and easements. His litigation services involve breach of contract claims, LLC member disputes, co-tenant disputes and partition, construction litigation, landlord-tenant disputes, eviction, adverse possession and declarations of interest.

Many of John's clients are owners and managers of commercial real estate, seeking advice about acquisitions and dispositions of commercial property, leasing, property management and related real estate services. John gained valuable experience in these areas while practicing law in Chicago. There, he represented real estate investment trusts in their acquistions and dispositions of several different property types in major markets, including office, multi-family residential, retail and industrial. John also negotiated leases for each of these property types, drafted service contracts with vendors, and documented easements and covenants.

John has also spent significant time negotiating technology transactions, including software licensing, content licensing, and telecommunications site licensing.
